Hello,

I just wanted to say that I am now at 50mgs q48hrs....and started herxing significantly last week. In addition to the previous mentioned IP symptoms I have had slight chest pains ..(I gather this would be  lung and heart herxing). Also, yesterday was the neck stiffness and lower back pain I believe from the neuropathy I experienced this summer. It subsided this morning. Today it seems I have moved on to  jaw pain and a sense of "iciness" on my right forearm. Everything has been tolerable so far (although the back pain, neck and shoulder stiffness was formidable). I have been on 50 mgs since the 10th of this month and will continue  to monitor throughout this week and hopefully will be able to move up to 75mgs every 48hrs soon. I am scheduled to see my Dr. on Thursday and hopefully will have him retest my 25D to make sure its  under 12ng.

As always any info is appreciated

Thank you,

Yomi

Hi Yomi,

You might liek to have a read of-

When should I be concerned about cardiac symptoms?

Will the MP treat paresthesia and neuropathy?

... if you haven't already.

Take care,
Natalie

Hello,

I have been on Phase 1 since September of this year with the assistance of my primary care physician. I went to see him on Nov 20th to update him with my progress and we both agreed that I was ready for phase 2. My doctor said he would apply for access to phase 2 via the MP website.

I called him today and he said he was informed new physicians were not "being accepted"?? I had no idea that Drs were being limited in  anyway. Please let me know if things have changed as I was looking forward to moving to the next stage. If you need the name of my Dr please send a private message or email and I will send you his info.

Thank You

Yomi

Hello,

I have a question about phase 2.  I figure I'd ask here since my Dr and I are both learning as we go along here. After the first cycle  I know I can increase the mino by 25 mgs if IP symptoms are tolerable

Can I incease mino mid-cycle if IP symptoms are tolerable or does the increase need to happen every cycle/10 days?

Thanks

Yomi

The guidelines say:
Wait to ramp Mino until the second cycle when you have had a chance to assess the effect of this new combo.

And afterwards:
Ramp up Mino by 25mg increments during each cycle only if symptoms are tolerable.

Do not increase Mino on days when Zith usually peaks (days 3-6 and 9).

Hopefully both you and your doctor have a copy of the phase 2 guidelines, but just in case you don't, they can be downloaded here: Phase 2
