I Have read that some people have been able to get Benicar from a pharmacy in Ottawa and one in Montreal, could you send me that information and if possible how they got it, as my Doc says it's not available in our country.
I have been given 6 months to regain my health or loose my job so any help you could give me would really be appriciated.
I'm currently on prednisone, and feel awful, I've been on it for almost two years and my bones are starting to thin, borderline ostioarthritis. This treatment is distoying me, I need to get help form those who have been through this to persuade my Doc that this is lagitimate.

I have tried to get it from other pharmacies in Canada but they tell me they can't get it although I don't know why?

The Benicar most of us in Canada use, comes from compounding pharmacies in Montreal and Ottawa. They can make up capsules for you in 20mg and 40 mg, and also in the slow release form, which some of us use at night. They can also be compounded without lactose, if that is a problem for you. What I do, is scan my script in, and then send the original on by mail. Request that your doctor gives you a few repeats so that you do not have to do this too often.
I use the Glebe Pharmacy in Ottawa and find their service very good. They require a few days' notice to get your script compounded and then they send it on to you - in my case for about an extra $10 from Ottawa to the GTA.
There you go - tell your doctor we certainly can get Benicar in our country! Just remember though, that as it does not have a DIN # here, you will have to pay for it out of your own pocket and cannot claim through an insurance company or the provincial health plan, but it is SO worth it.

My doctor has asked me to find out what other dotctors where involved in the research supporting benicar and antibiotics use.
I have read all of the info sites but still cant find any references.
Any help with this would be greatly appriciated, I am trying really hard to get my doc's approval for the protocol and this may help.
Just starting to get a little frustrated with all the hoops I'm being asked to jump through. when they have no problem prescibing 9 other meds to try and controll my symptoms, when this could cure me
