Hello.  I live in Northern VA.  Can anyone tell me how I might find the name of a MP doctor in the Virginia, or Maryland or Washington, DC, area?

Welcome Amy,
I hope you have a copy of the Phase 1 guidelines and take some time to research the Marshall Protocol so you are up on the details. Working in a well-informed partnership with your doctor is key, and probably more important than just hiring a different doctor who might be treating others.

Many work with their current doctor rather than try to find a new one. If your doctor is unfamiliar with the Marshall Protocol, this thread contains suggestions to get your doctor on board with the MP.

If you determine you need a different supportive doctor, post a request for the doctor list in this thread. You may also contact members in your local area to ask about their MP doctor.

To verify that the MP is the right treatment for you, ask your doctor to test your D-Metabolites. When you get the results, post the actual numbers in the Preliminary test results forum (see What to include in your preliminary test results report) for expert analysis because results within the normal lab ranges can still be abnormal.
