Just wondering if anyone has tried to order (recently) from Canadageneric.com.
They sell the generic form of Benicar/Olmesartan/olmetec.

Is the generic as good of a drug as the others?

I have read some of the other posts on this but would like to hear from someone that has ordered from them more recently. Thanks

Yes, and many people have used it with no problem.

Roonie,

Yes, I am taking olmetec and having no problem that I am aware.

Why don't you order from your pharmacy, its legal here now and has it's own din #.

Dec. 1 of 2008 it is available here in canada, why do you need to order it somewhere else?

I had my prescription filled on Feb. 27th and I have been taking them, they are fine.

you are not taking generic if it is called olmetec. Olmetec is just a new name since shering-plough began selling....at least to my knowledge.

Olmecip is the generic from india...it is way cheaper than Olmetec. $49 dollars/ 90 tabs form Canadageneric.com

what are you paying for Olmetec Kitty?

Hi Roonie....I just ordered my second Rx of Olmecip-40 from canadageneric.com.     90 pills/40mg - $49.00.

I used my first Rx and felt no difference than taking the name brand Benicar.  In fact I took both Benicar and Olmecip the same day. My Olmecip has 10 pills per sheet in individual pill-blister pack.  The manufacturer is listed as CIPLA, LTD. INDIA.  Best price for out of pocket that I've found.  Hope this helps

Terry:)

Is the shipping extra Terry?

Roonie...Here is the direct link to the page you want to start your order. Click on the blue arrow in the box and a drop down list of products appears. You want the last choice at the bottom that says:

Generic 40mg 90 tablets - $49..... choose the quantity ( number of 90 tablet boxes) you want. Click on the "Add To Bag" button and continue with purchase.

http://www.canadageneric.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/product.display/pn/Benicar.Olmesartan/product_id/5486.htm

The three letters you refer to are HCT, which means it contains a diuretic mixed in the Olmecip pill (generic Benicar). You do NOT want this kind. This link will take you to the right kind of generic Benicar, (plain) that you're looking for. By the way the generic name for benicar  is Olmesartan Medoxomil.....and that is what Olmecip is.The shipping is extra and costs $9.99 per prder. I got a RX from my doc for 3 months- 360 tablets. That way I save on the shipping, instead of ordering  every month.

Check your e-mail and I will send more info.

Roonie,

Sorry about taking so long, I have been in horrible pain and can't sit at the computer.

I paid around 83.00 for 360 tabs but that is after blue cross paid their portion. In all the benicar cost 411.00

I can see you guys are finding it cheaper.

Lynn

Roonie,    I just called Canadageneric and was told that they don't ship to addresses in Canada.      How are you getting the benicar from them?

Maureen

I have not ordered any from them yet. I had just called them the other day. I guess i never mentioned that i was in Canada. I was almost certain that i told her i was in Canada...but with my brain fog....maybe i did not.

They are located in Surrey. So you mean even you living in Surrey BC cannot order from them. They are located in Surrey...sounds a bit bizzare. Maybe that is why when i tried to pull up NorthwestPharmacy.com i could not get the site up on my computer.

It definitely is bizarre because the address on their website is only blocks from my house.

I have been taking the Olmecip. and have not had any problems.  It is manufactured by Cipla from India.
