Hi all,

I would like to start MP, but before that I would be pleased if someone answer my questions. I am interested in few things I was not ale to find anywhere:

1) When MP is showing such a good results why is it taking so long for professionals to accept and adopt it? How that is there is so few written (reviews from doctors and other professionals in medicine) about MP?

2) I saw from Dr. Greg Blaney's presentation that there is improvement 50% after using just Benicar (Olmesartan). I would like to know what the improvement is after finishing first phase and 2 phase of MP. And if you can stop MP after first phase or second phase of MP. Or is it vital to finish all the 3 phases even if you feel much better. Would your state deteriorate if you finish earlier?

3) Question for UK's residents: How can I get medicine for MP in the UK (do I need prescription, can I use prescription written in another country)? Are there any doctors curing based on MP?

Thank you for your responses :P.

Hi Tomas,

1) The MP is only six years old - that's new in medical terms!

Why won’t my doctor consider the Marshall Protocol?

Why isn't the MP being used by more doctors?

My doctor wants to read about the MP in published medical journals. Where can I find them?

PAPERS FOR PHYSICIANS

2) I think you may have misunderstood something there.  25% feel better as soon as they take Benicar at the MP doses, 25% feel no different, and 50% have uncomfortable symptoms of hormonal adjustment.  But no-one gets 50% better from their disease just on the Benicar.

How well you feel at each stage of the MP is very individual.  I've noticed a few dropping out without finishing the course, because they felt so well they didn't see the point in continuing.  Whether they remain well or suffer relapse, it's too early to say.

Many of us (like me) are leading a normal life, but continue experimenting with the MP to see if we can get even better!  Four years on the MP: am I not cured yet?

The MP can't create new inflammation because it can't make bacteria appear where there weren't any bacteria before. When we get new symptoms that we haven't had before, it's because the MP is exposing more bacteria in places we didn't realise we had them.

Now, if we didn't do the MP, these hidden bacteria would not remain hidden for ever. Eventually they would multiply to the point where they would reveal themselves in new symptoms. So, if one stops the MP prematurely, not only will the 'new' symptoms remain and worsen, but also further new symptoms will gradually develop, just as they would have done if one had never done any MP.

3) There are only about 15 of us on the MP in the UK at present.  There's a list of UK doctors you can request here, but it's short, and none of the doctors on it actually has much experience of the MP.  Still, it's worth a try if your GP won't oblige.  (Warning: consultants are not renowned for their open-mindedness to 'something I found on the internet'!!  Most of us have had more success with GPs than with specialists.)

A few of us here (including me) are getting the MP prescriptions from open-minded GPs.  A few are under the care of one private doctor who knows the MP fairly well but nevertheless likes to add other things to it, and the phone consultations are expensive.  You would still need a local doctor to monitor you and do the blood tests.

The D-Metabolite tests can be ordered by any doctor, and the essential 25-D is quite routine.  The less important 1,25-D is a tricky and expensive test for which the blood sample needs to be frozen and sent to Manchester assay centre.  There may be other centres that I don't know about.
