Why don't more doctors know about this treatment? Do they not have the time? Do they not believe in it?

It will be one or two decades before the first physicians come out of training fully understanding 21st century molecular science. Our discoveries are based on that science, and therefore participation of the patient is still more effective than that of a caregiver, or an unguided physician.
When was the last time your physician spent some time Googling for the latest information about how to better treat his patients? Well, those are the physicians you need to start seeking out

Thank you, Sir,
HUMMMMM, I wish doctors spent more time scarching medical research on the internet. I bet it is lack of time.
Sir, I'd like to email/talk to you about my husband, he is not well and I'm going bonkers. We live over here in Germany and work for Uncle Sam; 15 years ago he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Every time he turned around nothing worked. None of the medicines, diet, nothing was working. Diabetes has started to take over Lupe's organs. 5 years ago he had a triple bypass and a month later surgery they found a black, cold spot on his thyroid and the doctors took out half of his thyroid. After two surgeries on top of each other Lupe's immune system crashed and he was diagnosed with CFS. He catches every cold and flu that the teens bring to school. He is depressed, he is impotent, bills pile up and he could care less if they are there or not. If I try to assist he gets defenseive and mad. He has sleep apneia and won't leave his mask on because he gets stopped up at night. I can't sleep with him because I need my sleep, because anything that disturbs my sleep, disturbs my eczema.
I guess by now you can say I don't know what else to do......I'm in a pickle and we need help. SUGGESTIONS are really welcome, SIR.

Hi Picturelady.
Welcome . I am sorry to hear about your husband's ill health.
I'm not sure how much about the Marshall Protocol you have read, so I will give you some basic reading to do first, and then some reading specific to your husbands circumstances.
First the basics -
What is the Marshall Protocol?
The Marshall Protocol -- simple explanations
Is the Marshall Protocol an Applicable Treatment for my Disease?
D-metabolites tests - are what will help determine if the Marshall Protocol is the right treatment for your husband.
Your Doctor may also like to do a therapeutic probe -
What is a therapeutic probe?
What is the basic definition of Th1 inflammation?
PHASE ONE of the Marshall Protocol
*How to Start the Marshall Protocol* the first 3 months - of course you only do this under the guidance of a supportive Doctor.
I'm glad to see you've already requested Doctor's List in your area. If you need any further help finding a Doctor or getting a local Doctor on board, let us know.
Now for some information specific to your husbands situation -
You will see that Diabetes type II and CFS / CFIDS / ME are both currently being treated by the MP (click the blue text to read more).
HEART DISEASE and Th1 inflammation
THYROID DISEASE and Th1 inflammation
You may also like to have a look through Members' Success Stories.
I also recommend you frequently read Amy Proal's http://www.Bacteriality.com site. A good place to start is her recent presentation in vimeo (movie) format. Here is Amy's description and the link:
"In the following video, I explain the science that forms the backbone of the Marshall Protocol in simple terms. I discuss the bacteria implicated in causing chronic inflammatory disease, and explain how these pathogens affect the immune system. I also describe the basics of the treatment itself, providing information that any patient who plans to start the Marshall Protocol, or any doctor planning to put a patient on the MP, should understand. My narration is accompanied by slides with pictures and images of the pathogens and molecules I discuss. The video is 89 minutes."

I hope this helps and let us know if you have any further questions.
Take care,
Natalie

Dear Natalie,
Thank you for taking the time for me. I will start reading and I hope I can find an answer. It will be tough if we can't find a doc in San Antonio.
