Hello,
I am an 83 year old woman of sound mind and (relatively) sound body. I have the the well known Vancouver MP doctor and two knowledgable daughters on the MP (one a member of the MP site). I was diagnosed with metastatic bladder cancer (in the bladder and an associated lymph node) last spring. I had tumors removed from the bladder in June, radiation treatment in August, declined chemotherapy and started the MP in September. Better late than never. I am on B and mino.
Scans of liver, rest of urinary system and lungs have always been clear.
Recent radiation follow-up scans have indicated no re-growth of tumors in bladder or lymph node.
My question: My urologist prescribed detrol (TOLTERODINE EXTENDED - RELEASE - ORAL) for some residual incontinence from the bladder cancer. Is taking this contraindicated on the MP?
Unfortunately the folks on this board are not qualified to give medical advice. It would be best for your doctor to ask this question in the Private Section for Health Professionals on the main MP site.

It's a little confusing if you use your daughter's name for posting on this site! But Josh is right, Ruth or your doctor could ask the medics in the Professionals' Forum, as we're not medics here.
