I am a disabled 46 year old male. I blew some discs in my back in 1999 and after 3 surgeries, I am now on SSD and collecting my pension.

The symptoms I have now and have had for about 5 weeks are a numbing sensation around my left eye and a feeling that my eyebrow is resting on my eyelid, although looking in a mirror it looks the same as the right side. The area around my left eye is also numb to the touch, almost like it was numbed with meds, but only on the skin surface as I can feel pressure.

I had an MRI and came back negative. After a second round of bloodwork my Neurologist (spelling) told me my bloodwork came back with something raised that leads him to belive I may have Sarcoidosis. He is planning to refer me back to my prim ary care physician for a referral to another specialist for a more exacting diagnosis.

What questions should I ask my primary care and what do I have to look forward to for testing and treatment?

Hi Rndn,

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

I assume you're looking for what to ask your Doctor for re. getting on the MP (as this forum is all about the Marshall Protocol), so I will answer with that..

Info to give to your Doctor would include..

"What is the Marshall Protocol?"

Papers for Physicians

Suggestions to get your doctor on board with the MP

Letter of introduction for your MP supportive doctor

Also the consent to treatment form may help your Doctor feel more comfortable.

The most important test is the D-metabolites tests
.. it will help verify that the Mrshall Protocol is the right treatment for you.

Your Doctor may also like to do a therapeutic probe..
What is a therapeutic probe?

The Phase 1 Guidelines.pdf
is the initial first step to discuss with your doctor.

......As well as suggesting your doctor join the Professionals' Forum .

Also of interest;

SARCOIDOSIS
Overview, treatment, diagnosis, symptoms, remission, PFTs, staging system, ACE, etiology, standard treatments

Simple Explanations for explanations that apply to all Th1 diseases, including sarcoidosis.

I also thing Dr. Marshall and Cpt. Tom Perez's talks at the recent 6th International Congress on Autoimmunity in Porto, Portugal is a great introduction to the MP for your Doctor;
http://vimeo.com/1787405 - Dr. Trevor Marshall
http://vimeo.com/1789735 - Cpt. Tom Perez

(you will see there are also other videos available on the side of the page).

I hope this helps & is not too overwhelming.

Let us know if you have any other questions,
Natalie :)

Thank you very much Natalie, this is exactly what I was looking to get by posting my question. Yes it is a little overwhelming, but it is the information that I needed.

Thanks again for the very fast response as well as all of the very helpful links.
