I am writing because I have an African American father-in-law, 68 years old who has been diagnosed woth Sarcoidosis. He has been dealing with the condition for over 10 years now and at this point, the condition has degenerated to a point of constant oxygen and a 40 lb weight loss.
He has been following the traditional course of steroids over the last several years but we are interested in moving him towards a different form of care i.e., the Marshall Protocol. His current physician is at University of Pennsylvania. Can you recommend any doctors in the Philadelphia are who have endorsed the Marshall Protocol and currently practice it? We are desparetely looking for ones who can help us in changing the direction of his treatment.
Also, I was thinking about perhaps John Hopkins (I would be willing to travel but prefer something closer as I live near Philadelphia) but don't have any experience with them, their effectiveness or their viewpoint on any alternative procedures. Any info that any one has in addition to my question above would be helpful.
Johns Hopkins will not be interested in encouraging you to try the Marshall Protocol, though I understand they do make some use of antibiotics.
I hope your father-in-law will do some reading on our main study site MarshallProtocol.com to help him decide if he wants to do the MP. Here are some introductory links to get him started:
Bacteriality - a readable blog-style website by one of our members, with science-made-easy articles, an introductory 90-minute video, and interviews with recovering patients - an excellent introduction to the MP.
