I had many tests to find out what was going on with me the last 2 years (as I am sure many of us have!) Weight loss, night sweats- which I have had for 8 years but chalked up to hormone changes although I am only 36- swollen lymp nodes, diffuse patchy infiltrates in all lobes of the lungs. left side spasms and eye sensitivity. My PET scans showed hypermetobolic activity in the spleen which remained unchanged for 2 years. After much thought we decided to do a splenectomy. Which showed enlargement and many nodules, after having 2 pathologists look at the slides Sarcoidosis is the final diagnosis.
My question is that now that I am immune compromised and would the MP be a right choice? I am 5' 6'' and 120 lbs. I can't afford to lose more weight on a extremely low carb diet. But I want to be around for my kids and will do whatever it takes.

Trichert,

Welcome! I'm a newbie too, so I won't try to offer advice, but I will say that I believe you've come to the right place. :)

An advocate should be along shortly to answer your questions.
