My husband is hoping to pursue the Marshall Protocol. I had posted a question earlier this month and inquired about a doctor's list, which I received. There are two doctors that are within 75 - 80 miles.
Upon calling the two closest offices, the office that did answer let him know that there would be an initial cost of $250, just for being seen for the first time. What kind of costs have seen thus far, when establishing with a doctor that utilizes the Marshall Protocol?
My husband is a VA patient and does not have any other type of health insurance and the VA does not approve or use the Marshall Protocol.
My husband has already received a written letter from a former ophthalmologist/surgeon who had relocated to another state, who believes that the Marshall Protocol would be a good option for him, given the fact that his sarcoid inflammation flares so often, and his eye pressure spikes, because of this inflammation, not to mention the countless surgeries and recovery periods (months) he's had for glaucoma implants.
Would just like a synopsis of what to expect regards cost and how open are the doctors who implement the Marshall Protocol to taking on new patients.
Thanks - catzckj

Catzckj,
Welcome and please continue to ask your questions in this thread about the Marshall Pathogenesis and Marshall Protocol.
You are correct. VA status without other medical insurance might be a financial issue for legal off-label prescriptions, and sometimes, even doctor visits. Here are some helpful links:

Which diagnostic tests do I need? Good for you to keep the letter from an opthamologist/surgeon. That is an important document that you can continue to reference, especially since eye inflammation issues are a significant for your husband. You may also appreciate:
